Local History Day - Key Stage 2. Period covered 650 AD - 2016. During the day, students will learn about the history of the 450 year old Hazelrigg House and its links to The Battle of Naseby, explore both the Northampton Castle Site and the historic St. Peter’s Church, use their detective skills to find a Saxon Palace and have the opportunity to dress up in period costume.

General Public Visits to Hazelrigg House
Our guided tour will last just under an hour and will also visit St. Peter’s Church. N.B. The tours are now full!
The next tours will ne on the 9th of September at 4pm and 10th of September at 1pm. The tour will be just under an hour. There will be no charge, however there will be a donation box at the end of the tour.
Following a successful pilot project funded by Northamptonshire Community Foundation, Hazelrigg House will be open for both school and public visits during the autumn season.
