Local History Day - Key Stage 2. Period covered 650 AD - 2016. During the day, students will learn about the history of the 450 year old Hazelrigg House and its links to The Battle of Naseby, explore both the Northampton Castle Site and the historic St. Peter’s Church, use their detective skills to find a Saxon Palace and have the opportunity to dress up in period costume.

General Public Visits to Hazelrigg House
Our guided tour lasts approximately an hour and a half and will also visit Northampton Castle site and St. Peter’s Church.
2017 visit dates and times for the general public to be announced in due course!
Following a successful pilot project funded by Northamptonshire Community Foundation, Hazelrigg House will be open for both school and public visits during the autumn season.
